(Let Live Program)

Let Live program started in 2007 in Carson California when I give a homeless man a large bag of cans and he cried and said thank you so much, my heart was touched, I didn’t think one bag of cans could mean so much to a person. So, I started collecting recyclables (plastic bottles and aluminum cans), receiving donation from the community to our program, distributing to the homeless community and people in need. You would be surprised with the help the donations give to individual who have nothing or just barley getting by in life due to life’s situation. We stage our recycling bins at various location, thanks to the generosity of companies who allow us to place a recycle bin or many bins at their place of business.

Our long-term goal is to expand the recycling program thru-out Los Angeles County, move into other cities in California, helping as many people as we can, establishing work (Homeless to Work) thru the recycling program for the homeless with your help, together we can make this a reality and not just a good thought or idea. The vision will clean and strengthen our community, clean by eliminating the recyclable from being throw on the street and strengthen by creating jobs for homeless people willing to work.

The goal is the assist family who are going thru challenging times, by motivating them, showing them that someone cares, promoting the will to keep fighting the good fight of life, never give up which will keep people from becoming homeless (Homeless Prevention). Please join us by contributing your recyclable to people in need.
