BBBA (Blacks Back in Baseball Academy) starting a program in Los Angeles County to encourage, enhance participation in the black community through youth Baseball 2Q26. The program will required participation from the entire community not just the youth, involving parents’, and local business. The BBBA program will operate a year-round baseball academy for ages 5- 14, developing their skills for entry level into High School Baseball Programs.

We will also seek motivational influence from professionals in our community and celebrities. We view this as a great opportunity to continue the Lagacy of blacks in baseball and not forgetting about the struggle of the Negro Baseball League.

Baseball is good recreational, physical exercise, mind development and family fun, we feel the opportunity is there, lack of hype to attract and sustain young blacks’ interest with baseball for black boys and softball for the young black girls. The goal of the program is to provide positive activities in the community, looking for leadership for this program from High School, College and Professional Players, who have heart and desire to give back.

Participants in the BBBA programs will also have the opportunity to engage in the C-Tech program which provides computer training for ages 8 to 16, long term goal is to teach community, respect of people, train up the next generation of community leaders by showing them what a community leader look like by examples. Engage in activities with our community elders bridging the gap between our youth and seniors in our communities.

Volunteers will be needed, parks and teenager and young adults.
